Creative ideas for creatives

Choosing a niche is sooo important when it comes to succeeding on social media. If you want to start or grow your online presence, you need to figure out what you will love creating content around, and what your followers will want to see! This can feel hard if you are not comfortable in front of the camera or if you want to remain anonymous. Here are some ideas of what you can teach or share to build a following without showing your face!

  1. Coffee Connoisseur

Share coffee recipes and tips for making the perfect brew! Some accounts create recipes based on films or books, using edible glitter and flowers for an aesthetic brew. This makes for an entertaining Instagram feed!

2. Film Lover

Give your opinion on popular TV shows and classic movies. Share trivia about actors, and compile lists of must-watch movies. You can be an inspiration hub for people struggling to pick what to watch on the weekends. Parents also love appropriate film ideas for their kids.

3. Book Ideas

If you love to read, share aesthetic book flatlays and book reviews. Maybe even interview authors about their work!

4. Fashion

You don’t even have to be in front of the camera for this one! Tell people about sales going on at their favorite clothing websites or stores, give style advice, or show off your latest shopping haul!

5. Amateur Cook

Share your adventures in the kitchen! You don’t have to be good at it! Let people follow your journey as you make up recipes, experiment with making a pie for the first time, or demonstrate cooking for a specific diet, like plant-based cooking.

If you don’t want to be in front of the camera, but you want to share your creativity, there are so many options available. Get creative!
